Yesterday’s image is not a jolly one, it’s what our ‘flowerbed’ currently looks like. This is what happens when you had a patch of the garden over to the kids.
Today’s picture is a happier one, this is our rhubarb slowly getting its thing on. This was only a tiny crown as it was taken from our old allotment, and so, because of that, I’m really keen for this to flourish here. The square mark you can just make out in the soil around it is from the half squash bottle cloche it currently has to have over it, to protect it from greedy sheep and small children’s stamping feet – they’re not helping with the whole flourishing thing.
